Morrison Foerster, Paine Schwartz, and Siddhi Capital are proud to have hosted the sixth annual Food+Ag Dinner in San Francisco, welcoming 100+ leading global startups, investors, and corporate innovators.

Advances in genetics are improving everything from crop resilience to consumer health benefits, while also creating some of the most valuable businesses in the sector.

Over dinner, our co-hosts engaged in a dynamic panel discussion on genetics as a value driver from seed to scale and from producer to consumer. Speakers include Alex Corbacho – Partner, Paine Schwartz, Steven Finn – Co-Founder, General Partner, Siddhi Capital, and Meghan McLean Poon, Ph.D. – Partner, Morrison Foerster.

Participants were given the chance to learn about, taste, and take home some of these innovations:

1. Paine Schwartz portfolio company Bloom Fresh’s premium seedless grapes were part of each tablescape.
2. MoFo client Bay State Milling’s HealthSense® High-Fiber Wheat Flour, milled from a unique variety of non-GMO wheat, was featured in the cornbread on the menu.
3. Protein brownies using Plantible’s Rubisco flour were nestled in the gift bags. Plantible is a portfolio company of Siddhi Capital.
